Nagaraj Meda is the Founder, Chairman and Managing Director of TransGraph Consulting. He is a Post–graduate in economics with specialization in International trade/finance from University of Hyderabad and has additional qualifications in the fields of technical analysis and portfolio management. He also has hands on experience in the commodity futures markets as a portfolio manager in a commodity hedge fund and has worked in developing the hedge models to 60+ corporates spread across FMCG, manufacturing, trading / processing, automobile sectors. He is well recognized as an authority in the field of price forecasting using, “Mapping the Market Thought” approach, a combination of fundamental and technical analysis. He is a well respected economist with proper understanding of business and economic policies. He has presented 100+ papers at various international conferences related to supply demand analysis, price forecasting and risk management. Nagaraj Meda has immense experience in formulating risk management and hedging policies for various commodity buyers, sellers, and processors and in setting up or improving hedge / trading desks. Also, one of the pioneers in implementing risk management process, hedge models in physical commodities trading, sourcing, and selling of commodities industries by introducing the concept of Value at Risk (VaR) through proprietary software TransRisk (www.transrisk.net). His deep understanding of commodity markets, practical consulting solutions and strong team building capabilities have helped evolve TransGraph into a globally reputed commodity price and risk management consulting firm, serving to many crushing plantations, refining, FMCG, Personal care and auto / auto ancillary industries.
