Dr. Sathia Varqa is the Managing Editor with Fastmarkets Palm Oil Analytics, a publisher of palm oil news, price, data based in Singapore, serving global commodity markets.

POA publishes daily reports covering price assessments, analysis of key data and market commentary.

POA was acquired by Fastmarkets a world leading price reporting, events, intelligence and analysis in February of 2023.

Sathia previously worked for S&P Global Platts, a division of S&P Global based in Singapore.

He holds a BA (Business Studies) degree, Master’s in international Trade (Distinction) and a PhD in political economy from Aberdeen, Scotland, UK
